J Crew Jewelry Collection

If I could, I would have all of them in my jewelry chest. A girl can dream right? Wishful thinking at its best. *sigh*

How did I miss this?

Dang...and to think I was done shopping. Lol.

New Purchases

I returned the sandals I purchased from Charlotte Russe after winning these beauties on eBay. Antik Batik "Langoa" sandals. I also purchased these Kenneth Jay Lane earings from The Outnet in hopes of scoring an incredible deal from their 1 year old sale...but I shall digress. I love how the sandals and earrings match perfectly. I will be pairing these two items a lot this summer.

Good things come in small packages

How many took advantage of Sephora's 15% off sale? I know I did. I have not been wearing makeup like I used to (well foundation) for a while. I was wearing MAC Studio Fix but it caused me to break out, so I stopped. I have heard so many good things about MUFE (Make Up For Ever), so I decided to try it out. I tried out their HD line at the store and I must say I was instantly impressed! I stuck to my budget and simply bought essentials, so I am very proud of myself!

Wednesday, April 14, 2010

I just discovered Simple Human and I am in love. With a tub like this; my skin would turn into a prune because I would never want to come out. Oui! Check out their other products...

Recent Purchases: Summer Bound

Tuesday, April 13, 2010

I just came back from visiting my girlfriend who lives in Chesapeake, VA. It is amazing how quickly I can go through some sandals. My staple sandals from last year are all broken; which is incredibly annoying. This is the reason why I detest cheap shoes. While they are cute, 3 to 4 months wear and tear is not enough for me. I have been stawking eBay to see if I can score a good pair of Dolce Vita's or a like brand. Because I was in need of some sandals, I decided to go to the mall because I could not wait an auction to end let alone, for the seller to ship a pair of shoes. I stopped by Aldo and Zara. I was highly annoyed and I repeat highly annoyed that Aldo has the audacity to sell sandals for $60 to $70. What do I look like? If I am patient enough, I can score a pair of Michael Kors, DV's, or shoot even a nice pair of Matt Bernson's for the same price or less. This is why I do not like buying sandals during their peak season; they are extremely overpriced. I stopped by Charlotte Russe and bought 2 pairs of sandals for less than the price of one sandal from Aldo's.

My dad just came back from Nigeria and he was kind enough to get Daisy by Marc Jacobs for me. Every time he goes on a business trip, he surprises all of his girls with perfume. He got my mother ChloƩ Eau de Parfum Spray. I am green with envy. Good job dad!!!

Coca-Cola and Karl Lagerfeld Team Up

Monday, April 12, 2010

Yeah...the same thing I thought when I saw the headline on one of the most informative Fashion Blogs, Nitrolicious. I was like no way...but then I remembered that Roberto Cavalli teamed up with the Coca-Cola Light also. But the question is, is it worth $81?! MAN...I am tempted because I absolutely love the brand.

This is one trend that I doubt I will participate in. That is all.

Whatever happened to Jean Grae

Friday, April 2, 2010

While on Facebook the other day, I nearly wanted to gauge my eyes when I saw a status that said, Trina vs. Nicki Minaj. I cannot support artist that are not "true." It made me wonder what ever happened to Jean Grae. That woman went h.a.r.d. If you want to talk about true mcing, you have to first write your own rhymes.

Ok, I am done.

Don't know who Jean Grae is...get to know her here

Don't Break My Heart...

...was the song that I first heard from B.o.B., Mr. Bobby Ray. The Eastside (Atlanta) native then came out with the instant hit, "Nothin On You." I just finished downloading a whole array of his mixtapes and added them to my workout playlist. The guy is dope and plus you know I have to support my fellow Atlantans.

Oh yeah....The Adventures of Bobby Ray drops on April 27th. Get it!
