Kelly Green is my fave color. The puffed up sleeve is great addition to this understated fab dress.

Dear John Letter: Kelly Rowland
Dear Ms. Rowland,
Can I let you in a secret? While I will stan all day and night for POW-ON-CE, you secretly was my fave. Your style was impeccable and your beauty was undeniable. We all know that Father Knowles has been unfair. He's made you fall back in Ms. Sasha Fierce's shadow. Yes hun, I get it. But it's now your time to shine. No more Papa Rule the World telling you what to do. I used to save all of your paparazzi pics and swore that you never would have a bad day until.....
*clears throat*
What in zee earth? Has your stylist gone mad? Did Matthew put some evil weave spell on you? Were you given Beyonce's hand me down weave collection? I am just in shock. I understand that everyone has a bad weave day (because Lord knows I have had a few). Let's just hope this doesn't happen again. Please go back to the fashionably chic Kelly I know!
*wink*

GOOD NEWS!!!
Saturday, June 20, 2009
I really wish I could go into details but I have some really good news brewing. Without being extra-sentimental, I want to say to anyone who reads this blog that "Anything is possible" and I mean "Anything." For anyone that knows me, I have to be in business for myself. It is in my blood. My parents are entrepreneurs. My brother is an entrepreneur. Soon I will be changing the focus of my blog. With that said, back to researching!

Celebs Blogging?!
Friday, June 12, 2009
So, I still find it funny that celebs blog or participate in social networking. I can understand that it is another form of free advertisement or for some paid advertisement BUT when you have the likes of Bow Wow, T-Pain,Young Joc and even Kelis twittering jibber jabber it becomes quite annoying. I do not do social networks (I guess because I am anti-social) but the stupidity that comes from their mouths is bewildering to say the least.
These celebs and their miscontrued ways are less than humerous. A lot of them cry for privacy but then they willing put their business on front street. If you know you have an outlet for ridicule...man up and take the good with the bad.
For example; Tameka Raymond why would you have a twitter account? When you know you will have those to take shots at you and gold digging tramp whoring ways? AND then call ppl haters when they come at you. If you can't take the heat....stop promoting it. We all know drama sells. Either stay out of lime light, get Mathew Knowles to do your dirty work (like Bey-ONCE), or pay it no mind.
You don't see Will Smith or Denzel twittering do you....googling to make sure I am right.

Silly Rabbit Tricks are for kids....
"According to T-Pain, The chain is 10lbs, 197 karats and cost $410,000."
His twitter page response, "Let’s celebrate the fact a black man can have things like this and still care for 3 kids and wife in a $6 million house with 32 cars. Oldest child 5 and already got 4 million in her own account. I don’t do dumb sh*t like this till I know the fams good. so don’t judge me from what I buy. Judge me from what I do. Cuz it’s so many artists that put themself before their family."
Ok, like really? $410k around your neck? The odasity of this man trying to rationalize this craziness. You my friend are the reason why my son cannot listen to the music you play. I know I like expensive things but this makes no sense.

Sweet Mother
Saturday, June 6, 2009
Tomorrow my 50 year old mother will walk across a stage full of 3,000+ people and receive a piece of paper that only seemed like a dream a few years ago. I am so proud of her and there are not enough words that compensate those feelings. You see my mother moved from Nigeria to US to follow her man's (my daddy) aspirations to further his education. She left all she knew (plus 2 of her other children) and came to the States with 2 of her youngest children. No family. No support. Soon after she worked odd jobs here and there to make ends meet. Finally securing a career where she worked for 10 years while my father went to school. A bachelor and masters degree later, she quit working and became a stay at home mother.
It wasn't until the baby of the family became 14 year, did she decide to go back to school. So now 4 years later, my mother has accomplished what many thought was silly. Desipite the staying up late at night, the nagging, the crying, the uncertainties.....she did it!
Tomorrow, June 7th at 2:00 P.M. my lovely mother will receive her Bachelors Degree in Business Adminstration!!!

Technologic: New iPhone...
So, the word on the street is that Apple is set to release the newest iPhone generation soon....like real soon....like July 17th soon! Here's a list of what the new iPhone could offer, along with my comments. AppleiPhoneApps is also predicting that the $199 and $299 price tags will remain.
A 32GB model--We've expected this for some time. What's more, it would be welcome.
A 32GB model--We've expected this for some time. What's more, it would be welcome.
- Double the RAM and processing power--Ditto here. Hopefully, Apple will add background processing as, as well.
- A 3.2-megapixel camera with video-recording capabilities--We've been hearing about this for a while, as well. But while Apple is at it, we'd also like more camera editing features.
- Ability to send a pictures and video via MMS--The iPhone 3.0 software update will add the ability to send photos with MMS so videos would make sense too.
- Turn-by-turn directions--We'll also get this with the 3.0 update. The feature won't be native, but it will come through apps.
- 1.5x the battery life--The short battery life is one of the iPhone 3G's biggest flaws. I'd look forward to this improvement the most.
- Apple logo on the rear side will light up--This one is random, indeed. Outside of the, "Look at me, I have an iPhone!" factor I can't imagine why you'd want this. Plus, I agree that it would be useless and annoying if it negatively affected battery life.
- Built-in compass--This is a bit odd, but anything is possible. You can get limited compass functionality through a compass app.
- Built-in FM transmitter--This would be a first for Apple, so I'm suspicious. But I'd like it.
- Other physical changes--AppleiPhoneApps says the metal border might go away and the new model could have a sleeker profile and a rubber tread on its backside. Personally, I think the iPhone is sleek enough already, but some CNET readers have said the opposite. The rubber tread would protect against falls, I suppose. The blog also mentioned an OLED display.

Haven't really done much. OH! My girlfriend's bday party was fun! Picture 50+ ppl, a tent, excruciating heat, catered food, vollyball, and a moonwalk for kids. If I come upon pictures I will post later. This blog is quite dull and probably will be this way until I get my camera fixed....enjoy your wkend!
