If it sounds too good to be true most likely...

...it's too good to be true.

I find the humor in sites offering a pair of CLs for $200-300 and women think that these sites are legit! It's sad that there are women that fall for sites like this. Is it possibly to buy a pair of CLs at a discounted rate? Yes! If you are patient and an internet junkie; just stalk Barney's, NM, Saks, and BG during the major sale seasons (end of June and December) and I guarantee you can score a pair of CLs for approximately $300 to $600. Also, check out purseblog.com or thefashionspot.com they usually have really good leads. Do your homework ladies or just create a shoe savings account. I would rather do it the old fashion way. Go into a NM store and get up close and personal with the shoe that I will be spending loads of mula on. #imjustsaying

Highly Annoyed

Monday, November 9, 2009

So, over the past week I've been eBay shopping, or at least trying to. You see ask most eBay addicts, they like to bid on the auction they want seconds before the bid ends. You do that, to lessen the competition and beat out other bidders. I prefer to "Watch" each auction that I want to buy. The annoyance factor, comes when I forget to go back to that auction, minutes before the bid is over. I have missed out on some really good deals because I simply forgot to back to that auction. Better luck next time. Argh!

  1. Vintage Disco Dress with Metallic Puffed Sleeve $14.99 - Ended with no bids
  2. A new Banana Republic Cocoon sweater $22.49 - Ended with 11 bids
  3. Vintage Black Studded Bandage Cut out Dress $0.99 - Ended with 1 bid
  4. Kurt Geiger Red Satin Flats $6.00 - Ended with 5 bids
  5. Suede & Silver Chain Necklace $39.99 - Ended with 0 bids
  6. Vintage Gold Bib Necklace $7.50 - Ended with 4 bids
Grand Total = $91.96

*not including shipping & handling of course*

What's up blogging world?! Sorry for the lack of posting. Things have been a little crazy on my end...ha ha. Strike that. It hasn't been crazy. I have just been lazy to blog and kinda pre-occupied with other things.

A while ago, I blogged that I may start on a new business venture. Well, I have been reevaluating that goal. When I decide on a business venture I try to weigh the pros vs. cons and I want to make sure that I go into something fully prepared.

I love anything that ensues creativity, organization, people interactions....so if I do not persue that exact business it will be in the same neighborhood.

With that being said, my mother is having a 51st birthday party and graduation party that I am hosting. It has been a struggle based on the budget but since I am a DIYer, I gladly except the challenge. With the limited budget and time crunch, I may not post as much as I would like but I will try to blog about the experience.

Celebs Blogging?!

Friday, June 12, 2009

So, I still find it funny that celebs blog or participate in social networking. I can understand that it is another form of free advertisement or for some paid advertisement BUT when you have the likes of Bow Wow, T-Pain,Young Joc and even Kelis twittering jibber jabber it becomes quite annoying. I do not do social networks (I guess because I am anti-social) but the stupidity that comes from their mouths is bewildering to say the least.

These celebs and their miscontrued ways are less than humerous. A lot of them cry for privacy but then they willing put their business on front street. If you know you have an outlet for ridicule...man up and take the good with the bad.

For example; Tameka Raymond why would you have a twitter account? When you know you will have those to take shots at you and gold digging tramp whoring ways? AND then call ppl haters when they come at you. If you can't take the heat....stop promoting it. We all know drama sells. Either stay out of lime light, get Mathew Knowles to do your dirty work (like Bey-ONCE), or pay it no mind.

You don't see Will Smith or Denzel twittering do you....googling to make sure I am right.

Hello!

Saturday, March 28, 2009

Hello Blog World. This week has been quite post less. Between the busy work week and my impassable mood swings have prevented me from blogging. I guess we all have those yuck moments, where we are moody and snappy with a **** the world mentality. I am tired and need a job promotion but I guess just having a job is a "promotion" in and of itself. Eh....on to my post.

I used to have several designer jeans but since my excess weight gains ALL of them have ripped add that to my lack of losing weight = no jeans. So currently, there are not all of designer jeans now that come in my big girl size, so I put buying jeans on hold until I lose weight *rolling eyes at that statement*. BUT yesterday I went to Express AND GUESS WHAT?!!!! They had the boyfriend jeans on sale. Originally $79.50 but with 40% off and a 15% off coupon, I only paid $43.40!!!! Hold on, that's not even the exciting part....THEY FIT!

Why does getting a new item rejuvenate a woman? LOL. Something about getting a new item makes me feel like I conquer the world. Meet my running errands get up:

1. Express Boyfriend Jeans 2. Forever 21 striped button down 3. Armani Exchange belt - an oldie but I love this belt 4. Nine West 5. Forever 21 necklace 6. Juicy Couture charm bracelet

I'm going to hurl

First there was Laguna Beach. Then The Hills. Then The City. Those I can understand. BUT when Brody got a show, it got the side eye glance. I could not and refused to watch one episode. AND now Audrina is getting her own show? My goodness. I can't take this anymore. These "reality show" spin offs are getting out of hand. This why I don't watch that much tv. What happened to shows like The Cosby's or Fresh Prince or Martin or Golden Girls, shoot even Alf is better than this mess. I am boycotting tv, lol. Yeah Right.

What were some of your favorite tv shows growing up?

I am tired. I think I am probably the most moody person I know. My moods change so much. One moment I am optimistic about life and then the next I am irritated wanting to be left the f@*# alone. ARGH! I am getting closer to 30 and I am annoyed at the stagnant process where my life is currently. I feel bland but the woman inside me is far from that. I feel like I am way over-qualified at my current job and I am surrounded by morons. I don't know. I hope this feeling surpasses and does so quickly. Although, the economic crisis is taking a toll on a lot of people, that is not even what frustrates me. In a perfect world, I would be going back to school, married, having a side business while traveling with my beau and fixing up our home. That's what I want. But currently I am working from home and chatting with my girlfriend about all of her endeavors. I love that my girlfriends are making moves but I want to be the one with an exciting story to tell.

I want to be able to go into NM or Saks and buy a pair of CLs and not think twice about it. I want to have a fabulous dinner party for the adults and then take my son to the lake the next day. We live life once, there are no dress rehearsals, I am not getting younger darnit. I want to enjoy life TODAY!

Argh!

Happy Friday by the way people!
xoxo

OH!

Sunday, February 1, 2009

I went to H&M to return some Christmas gifts and I practically wanted to cry. Even though I was in the store for eh 5 minutes and 28 seconds (so kinding) it felt more like an enternity. Oh not having money is SO hard. I just wanted to run around the store like a kid at a toy store and yank clothes of the shelf while kicking and screaming MINE MINE MINE. Ok, so exagerating but you get what I am saying, right? Lovely spring colors, YSL like heels, scarfs scarfs scarfs? Argh what is a girl to do? FOCUS Ja. Delayed gratification is all that I tell myself. In due time, I will be able to go into stores and just wild out without thinking about a budget.

-Sigh-

GN blog world!
