Dear Kelly Pt. 2

What is really going on? I understand that you paid a lot of money your hooker boots but at 3 different events within a week? Who is marketing you? Why are you and Heidi Montag singing at the same event? Like seriously, what's going on? Why are you wearing that atrocious dress with tights? So many questions. Kelly I know you can do better.

While my list may seem extensive, I am pretty sure I won't be able to get ALL these items. However, I have been wanting a pair of Lanvin flats, a Burberry trench coat, and a Mike & Chris leather jacket for like forever. A lot of these items are fits that will last for a very long time, so they would be worth the investment. I absolutely adore the Rick Owens draped cardigan. While I cannot shell out that kind of money, I will certainly find a replica.

Tatted Up: City of Ink

I don't know about you guys but I am one of those that day dreams about my birthday months in advance....shoot at least 6 months to be exact. This year, I really want to get one or two tattoos, another piercing, and MAYBE color my hair. I know right. I am not sure if I can wait on the tat....I have been itching to get another tattoo, so I may be getting another one sooner than later. I only have one tattoo and I have always wanted more. I am not sure what has stopped me.

I want a really large tattoo on my back. I will probably go to City of Ink when I decide exactly how I want that too look. For now, all I know is that I want a large drawing of Africa on my back and something to symbolize my homeland (for that don't know I am originally from Nigeria). I am toying with the idea of getting a tat on heel. Argh! Decisions. Here are some tattoos from City of Ink:

Are you "Flipping Out" yet?

Does anyone watch this show? A new season starts tonight and I am ecstatic! While real estate guru, Jeff Lewis, is insane he is FUNNY! I caught some reruns today and I could not stop laughing while saying is this guy serious.....followed by OHHHS and AHHHS at the home transformations. Like seriously, when I make it I am going to NEED to call this man.

Must Have: Cross Body Bag

One of my first original vintage pieces is a suede purse that I took from my mother's closet that dates back to the early 70's. I love the versatility because I can wear it as a cross body bag or I can hide the straps and wear it as a clutch. These bags are so easy to carry and still provide a chic look. I really like the Kettle Black bag.

For my eBay lovers, don't you hate when you miss an auction for a great buy. I had a day dreams about this dress and she slipped right beneath me. I am so sad! You see, me and her we had plans. She was going to be my go-to dress. A hot date, engagement party, black tie event. I was going to make her work.....and all for only $50?! My heart hurts. Deals like this don't come around often. My favorite Olsen twin graced the cover of Marie Claire's September '09 issue and she looks great!

Here are some excerpts from the interview:

On being surprised she never had a public breakdown after becoming famous so young: “I look at Britney, and I’m surprised I didn’t end up like her.”

On her busy/stressful childhood: “(Growing up) it was almost like I was in the army. School, work, homework, fly to New York, get in at two in the morning, do a morning show at 5 a.m., then another one at seven, then a radio interview at 10.”

On driving with paparazzi: “I love driving, but sometimes I’m not too good with it because I spend too much time looking in the rearview mirror if I know I’m being followed. You don’t respond like, ‘Oh, there’s paparazzi.’ It’s more like, ‘There’s a man, and he’s gonna attack me.’ That’s how your body responds.”

On having her and twin sister Mary-Kate’s names on everything: “Mary-Kate and I never really wanted our names on a bunch of different things. It wasn’t us — it never felt like us.”
