The Dolce Vita booties were a steal that I picked up from eBay. Practically NEW! I originally fell in love with them months ago and even blogged about it. I also purchased some Prada specs. I always wear contacts because I do not like how look in glasses but these specs are too adorable. They did not come with a case, so I purchased the Prada case separately. I spent less than $45 total for the combo. You're familiar with the Nugaard Ring that I scored through Gilt.com and the Cole Haan wallet I got from eBay. These were some of the items I bought for myself. I don't know about you but I do not believe in a birth day, it's a birth MONTH for me lol.

Marc Jacobs Mercer Satchel

My very first MJ bag and I got a DEAL! Do you hear me. The Mercer was part of the 2007 Resort line. Would you like to know how much? Would you? Are you sure? Promise to keep it between you and I? Promise, lol. Ok, this bag originally retails for $1,095. The beau purchased it at Neiman Marcus Last Call. It was reduced to $492 but they were having a 20% off designer bags and if you opened a NM card you would get an additional 20%. So you do math. YES!!! $295. AHHHH! Nothing like a fabulous find and getting it for a fabulous price! Thanx boo!

The last I owned a pair of sneakers, I was 19. Well I still have them but I am not a sneaker girl at ALL but every once in a while, I will see a chic rocking some J's and it makes me reconsider for like 2.5 secs. I guess just one of things that you gotta let go.

Birthday Love

...So on Tuesday, Nov. 10th was my birthday. At first I was having anxieties about getting closer to the big 3-0. Yikes! I have left the mid 20's club and have now joined the late 20's. I am not even 40 and thought I was having mid-life crisis. But somehow, some way, my friend Mr. G-O-D reminded me of all the things I have to look forward to. While it is easy for me to worry about the minute details in life, I should focus on the bigger picture. I am a better person than I was last year. I may have gained 3 to 4 more pounds than I wanted instead of losing. I may not be in the career that I anticipated BUT I am definitely on the right track at being the best me that only know how to be. And for that I am grateful.



I will take that with stride and continue this road of improvement. So anyhoot...some of my birthday gifts to myself arrived in the mail. I finally bought a camera!!! Not an SLR like I wanted but a Canon PowerShot SD990. I also bought some OTK flat boots from Zara and a pair of Dolce Vita booties. I will dedicate a post when I get my camera. I am tempted to go to Savannah! Not sure yet. Is anyone planning on hitting up H&M for the launch of Jimmy Choo. I heard there will be ridiculous lines. That does not sound like fun, so I am on the fence.

Highly Annoyed

So, over the past week I've been eBay shopping, or at least trying to. You see ask most eBay addicts, they like to bid on the auction they want seconds before the bid ends. You do that, to lessen the competition and beat out other bidders. I prefer to "Watch" each auction that I want to buy. The annoyance factor, comes when I forget to go back to that auction, minutes before the bid is over. I have missed out on some really good deals because I simply forgot to back to that auction. Better luck next time. Argh!

Nugaard Ring

I just participated in my first Gilt sale. I love going on there but I have never bought anything...close though. I got a black Nugaard cocktail ring that is wrapped in gold wire. I can't wait to get it! My only problem with Gilt is the shipping, $12 to ship a ring seems a bit high. I had a great weekend. I went to a super swanky nail salon by the beau's. He got a massage and I got the deluxe mani & pedi.

$150 for Nail Polish

Hey guys, so ever since I bought my first Chanel polish on eBay a few months ago I've been hooked. I went on eBay to see if there were any steals. I was shocked to say the least to see several different Chanel polish auctions going for over $100. I understand that it's Chanel. I get it. I get that it's an exclusive buy and it is either sold out or rare find. I get that but seriously $144 for 0.4 ounce bottle of nail polish? Mr. Karl Lagerfeld, this is absurd. Now I can see paying for an exclusive Chanel bag because it can easily be an heirloom. Last for years and years to come. But nail polish that will be gone in 6 months if it lasts that long. I'll pass. I guess my "fashionista" card is pulled for not getting it. Because I don't get it.

The Beckhams were spotted at the Lakers game this weekend. How adorable is this family? Like seriously those boys will be heart breakers (let's hope not though). Birthday buys: eBay Love!

I had a conversation with a girlie and she thought I bought most of my finds from the mall.....NO!!!! I do not like malls. The young girls in skimpy clothes who BUY nothing but crowd the stores. The young boys gawking at young girls. The overpriced fashion nos. Yeah, I'll pass. I do most of shopping on eBay. Like tonight, I just won a brand new Cole Haan black leather wallet for $27! I am desperately trying to buy some L.A.M.B. heels. Birthday shopping officially started today!
